Here are some routes I've run, in decreasing order of difficulty.

Demi Los Trancos 4.6 gmap/kmz Long, steady, 1000' climb.  I still walk the steep parts.
Arastradero figure-eight 4.5 gmap/kmz Longer and with more elevation gain than the full loop of Arastradero.
Foothills inner loop.

Many small hills and one medium one.  Lots of opportunities to cut the route shorter: Woodrat Trail, Chamise Trail, no Bobcat Point loop, or Vista Hill road.  Hike up Toyon Trail to start.

Arastradero full loop.

This can be done in either direction.
Rhus Ridge/Hidden Villa loop. ~4.0 gmap Mostly downhill and flat.  Second half is on a trail next to a low-traffic road.  Hike up to Duveneck Pasture to start.
Arastradero half loop with Wild Rye extension.
